“Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.” – Henry Ford

It’s our final week in 3rd grade. I have come to love all of my students and I will miss them as they move on to 4th grade.

I will be sending home textbooks and supplies throughout the entire week. Please make sure that your child empties his/her backpack each day.

On Monday, we are finishing “The Tale of Despereaux”, and we will be watching the movie during our end of year party on Friday. We will be creating “Book of the Month” posters and writing reviews of the book. Additionally, the students will be personalizing handkerchiefs.

On Friday, we are going to have an end of year celebration! All of the students have volunteered to send something in for our party. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.

Finally a note on summer work. This year, the students are required to complete summer reading. Additionally, students should continue to practice their math facts and write for pleasure!

Thank you for a wonderful school year, and I wish you all a fantastic summer!
