Upcoming Assignments: The September Book Report is due on October 3. The form is on Google Classroom. In addition, I will hand out some forms this week to those who prefer a hard copy.
There will be a spelling test on Friday, September 27 on Unit 2. Unit 2 will be posted on the Classroom.
Much of our homework will be on pronouns.

ELA 6th Grade: This week we will review nouns and begin to study pronouns. We will finish writing our essay comparing apples to oranges. This week we will begin reading our October book- The Watsons Go to Birmingham.

ELA 7th Grade: The seventh graders will review nouns and begin pronouns. We will finish our essay on comparing Australia and New Zealand. The students will begin reading our October book- The Wednesday Wars.

ELA 8th Grade: We will review pronouns and are practicing grammar for the Catholic High School Exams. Eighth graders will create an essay on the book Pink and Say. Later in the week we will begin the October book The Outsiders.

Religion 7th Grade: Our religion class is finishing Unit 1 this week. When we do, we will begin review for a unit test on Tuesday, October 1. There will be a memory quiz on 2 Timothy 3:16-17 on page 25 in our workbook. Memory quizzes are listed on Google Classroom.
