There will be a Vocabulary Test on unit 5 on Friday, November 20th. Much of the homework this week will be Vocabulary.

Students should be reading independently for their November book project which is due on Tuesday, December 3rd.

ELA 6th Grade: This week we will be reading another short story “Aaron’s Gift” and then discussing the exposition and plotting the rising action, climax, falling action and resolution. We will also write an essay this week.

ELA 7th Grade: Students in seventh grade will read a short story, “Ribbons” by Laurence Yep. Within the story they will discuss symbolism, theme, and the exposition.

ELA 8th Grade: The eighth graders will read a short story, “Liverwurst and Roses.” They will study hyperbole and theme. We will also review what we learned in our immigrant unit.

Religion 7th Grade: We are continuing to read unit 3. There will be a memory quiz on Thursday, November 19 Ephesians 4:24
