There will be a spelling test on unit 13 on Friday, May 10. All grades will have a grammar quiz on sentence structure on Thursday, May 9th.
6th Grade ELA: The students in sixth grade have started reading the novel, The Cay. We will be discussing conflict and characterization.
7th Grade ELA: Seventh graders will start reading the novel, Fever 1793. This week we will analyze characterization and setting.
8th Grade ELA: The eighth graders will continue reading the play, The Diary of a Young Girl Anne Frank. There will be a quiz after we finish Act I. Most of it is on setting and characterization.
7th Grade Religion: We will begin unit 8 in the workbook. Most of this unit is based on the Commandments. Students will have a memory quiz on Thursday, May 9th. It can be found on page 169- Luke 10:27
