There will be a spelling test on unit 14 (the last one of the year!- one more vocabulary test to go) on Thursday, May 23.
Please remind your child to make up any tests or projects as the school year comes to a close.
6th ELA: We are finishing The Cay; after finishing the novel, we will compose an essay. We will review fragments and run on sentences and how to correct them. We will look at clauses.
7th ELA: The students are still reading Fever 1793. We will work on fragments, run on sentences and clauses.
8th ELA: The eighth grade is reading The Wave. We will work on fragments, run on sentences and clauses.
7th Religion: We are going to have a test on unit 8 on Thursday, May 23. We will not have a memory quiz, but will instead have it the following week.
