There will be a vocabulary test on unit 8 on Friday, Feb. 7th Much of the homework is vocabulary.Check Google classroom for instructions.
The January book project is due on Tuesday, Feb. 4.
The February book project is due on March 10. It will be an oral presentation.
Research paper topic selections will be given on Monday, Feb. 3.
FYI: 6th Grade: African Americans 7th Grade: Health Topics 8th Grade American History Topics. Students are to make their selection by Friday, Feb. 7th. If they fail to do so, I will select for them. Look for the list of topics to go over with your child.
6th Grade ELA: Students in sixth grade are working on their Greek myth projects- they are due on Wednesday, Feb. 5. We will review prepositions. There will be a quiz on prepositions on Thursday.
7th Grade ELA: The seventh graders are going to work on a Greek myth project. They will review prepositions for a quiz on Thursday.
8th Grade ELA: The students will present their protest lit projects on Monday. They will review prepositions. We will read a short story by Edgar Allen Poe. There will be a quiz on Wednesday due to the basketball games on Thursday.
7th Grade Religion: We are going to have the unit 4 test on Tuesday. Students will begin working on unit 5 on Monday. There will a memory quiz on Thursday, as noted on Google classroom.
