There will not be any tests this Short week. However, the (last) independent book project is due on May 2 when we return. Final Draft of the research papers should have been turned in for grading.

7th Literary elements project is due on Tuesday, April 17

6th Grade ELA : The 6th graders are finishing up their concrete poems. We will review sentence structure and read from Scholastic magazine.

7th Grade ELA : The seventh graders will read a short story, “Letters From Rifka.” Students will look at sentence structure.

8th Grade ELA : We are going to read about and discuss the Holocaust in preparation for Anne Frank. Please send in your child’s permission slip and money for the Trip to the Nassau County Holocaust and Memorial Museum- this is due on Wednesday, April 17.

7th Grade Religion: We are going to finish classwork studying about Christian Sacraments. On Tuesday we will read the Passion play.
