But be sure to fear the LORD and serve him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things he has done for you. 1 Samuel 12:24

Your children should be reading a book independently for the month of November. A book project is due on Tuesday, December 3.

I look forward to meeting with you on Thursday for Parent-Teacher conferences.

There will be a spelling test on Unit 5 on Friday, November 15th.

ELA 6th Grade: The sixth grade will read a short story, “Aaron’s Gift” and discuss and label the exposition. They will begin prepositions.

ELA 7th Grade:
Finally (!), we have one chapter left to read in THE WEDNESDAY WARS. We will be discussing themes in the novel. The students will have an adverb and adjective quiz on Wednesday.

ELA 8th Grade:
Seventh graders will create an essay on a listening activity, as we end our unit on immigration. I will read a NYS passage and students will take notes. We will discuss the passage and then students will write an essay on the contents.

Religion 7th Grade:
Students in seventh grade will begin Unit 3 which explores angels and ways God helps us. There will not be a memory test.
