May our Lord Jesus be with you and your family!

As we begin a new week of learning, we are continuing our study of the family.

Jesus Time:  The families of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph and God has plans for all our families.

Literacy:  We have read about bear families getting along, shopping with our families for a celebration, and how families help each other.  Students have had Mickey and Minnie Mouse in their family as guests and have written stories and drew pictures about them.  Check our Pumpkin Patch wall.

Social Studies:  As we continue to learn about farm families, we read about what a farm really is; farm animals and their babies-this week we continue with sheep and cattle.

Science:  Did you know that bats live in giant families?  Ask a Pre-K student.  But we will find out this week that spiders really do not live in families at all.

Math:  As well as patterning and sorting we will be continuing with the color brown, hexagons, and the numeral seven(7).

Art:  Please check our Pumpkin Patch for additional projects as well as our A – is for Acorns and B – is for bats.  Watch for our future work,

Computer:  While we are learning how to drag our mouse, we have been designing our own Jack-o-lanterns.

May our Lord rest His hand gently upon you as you enjoy this beautiful and cool Autumn season with your family!
