Kindergarten – 2nd grade

  • How can I help create a positive learning environment for my classmates and myself?
  • Can a keep myself and others safe at all times?
  • Can I work independently and safely?
  • Can I work with equipment independently?

3rd grade – 5th grade

  • How can I cooperate with my peers in order to create a positive learning environment?
  • Can I describe the role of rules and etiquette in physical education?
  • Can I demonstrate and follow all the rules and etiquette?
  • Can I discuss the importance of unique etiquette elements of various games and activities?

Middle School

  • Can I demonstrate respect for myself and others in order to create a positive learning environment in physical education class?
  • Can I cooperate with a small group of classmates?
  • Can I demonstrate problem-solving behaviors with a small group of classmates?
  • Can I demonstrate problem-solving behaviors with multiple classmates in both small and large groups?

7th Grade Health – Journal Entry 4 is due 10/2 by 8:15am

  • Am I able to define communication and the difference between verbal and non-verbal communication?
  • Can I distinguish between one-way and two-way communication?
  • Can I comprehend how barriers interfere with effective communication?
  • Am I able to recognize the importance of body language in effective communication?
  • Can I identify factors which contribute to effective communication?
  • Am I able to demonstrate the ability to use interpersonal communication skills to enhance health and avoid or reduce health risks?
