Kindergarten – 2nd grade

  • Can I move and play safely in different ways?
  • Can I stay balanced both while I’m still and while moving?
  • Can I stay balanced on different bases of support?
  • Can I balance while making new shapes with my body?

3rd grade – 5th grade

  • What skills and concepts do I need to know in order to take charge of my personal fitness?
  • What is it important to warm up and cool down after I’m physically active?
  • Can I demonstrate safe warm-up and cool-down activities?
  • How can warm-ups impact my performance in physical activities?

Middle School

  • How does regular physical activity lead to a healthy body, and how can I build a physically active lifestyle?
  • What are the negative and positive results of stress?
  • How can I deal with stress in a healthy and positive way?
  • What activities and practices can I do outside of physical education that can help me deal with stress?

7th Grade Health – Journal Entry 6 is due 10/16 by 8:15AM

  • Am I able to recognize the ways in which people make decisions?
  • Can I understand the importance of gathering information and considering consequences before making decisions?
  • Am I able to demonstrate and practice the decision-making process, using a decision-making model?
