Greetings to one and all! This week we should remember to thank our military veterans for their gracious service to our nation. As the popular saying states, we are,”the land of the free because of the brave.”
7th Social Studies
This week the students will be taking their test on chapter 3, but the test will be on Friday, and not on Wednesday, as was previously stated. The study Guide may be viewed here. Extra help will be Friday morning at 7:30 a.m.
8th Social Studies
Eighth grade will begin studying the growth of industry and inventions in the United States. We will be studying the good and bad of industrial growth and the reforms that helped our cities and workplaces become safer and healthier.
8th Religion
The first important announcement is that there will be no memory verse for the next two weeks. In class however, we will be studying how the people of Israel went to battle to claim the Promised Land, and how the people learned to follow God’s unconventional plans.
