Welcome back to a new week! Both seventh and eighth grade social studies have tests coming up this week. Here are the updates:
Seventh Grade Social Studies
This week the class will be finishing Chapter 6: The American Revolution. Last week, the students completed research presentations on African Americans who served in the Revolutionary War. I too learned about some highly accomplished people whom history often over looks, a few of whom were even teachers! The students will take their test on Friday, February 15th. There will be extra help that morning. You may view the study guide here.
Eighth Social Studies
The students of eighth grade will be taking their test on Chapter 21, World War I on Tuesday, February 12th. There will be extra help in the morning. You may view the study guide here. Our next unit of study will focus on life during the Roaring Twenties.
Eighth Religion
This week we will continue to study the life of King David. The memory verse for Thursday’s quiz is James 1:5, which can be found on page 73 in the student book.
