Welcome back to school! I am so thrilled to be back at Trinity as a second grade teacher! Your children have been learning important classroom procedures and are slowly falling into routines which lay the groundwork for a smooth-running classroom community of twenty children. Benchmark assessments will begin on Monday. These are given at the beginning, middle and end of the school year and are not graded but will provide a picture of progress as the year unfolds. Subject area learning will begin and homework will be found written in students’ assignment pads. Thank you to all parents and guardians for being so supportive and positive; most supplies have come in and this has made the transition for your children so much easier. I look forward to our Back To School Night on September 17th at 7pm. May God bless our new school year.
