Algebra

This week we are beginning our last chapter on Statistics.  It covers chapter 12 in the textbook.  We will be exploring frequency tables, histograms,  measures of center and measures of variation,dot plots, box and whisker plots.  The students learned most of this last year in 7th grade, so this chapter will be mostly review.

Math 7

We are finishing up our unit on probability.  Our test will be on Thursday, 5/9.  The test will cover experimental and theoretical probability, sampling involving word problems, and probability of compound events.
