This week we are continuing our work in Chapter 5, Graphing Linear Equations.  Last week, we leaned how to graph a line using a table, using x and y intercepts, and using slope intercept form.  We also explored how to calculate slope using the slope formula.  There will be a quiz on the above mentioned topics on Tuesday, October 23rd. 

Following the quiz on Tuesday, we will learning how to write an equation of a line when given two points.  We will also be covering the differences and similarities between parallel and perpendicular lines.  Additionally, we will learn how to graph a line using the point slope formula.  For additional practice students can use the packets post on the google classroom, as well has the textbook and workbook pages that correlate with Chapter 5.
