Dear Parents,

This week we will be learning about the color pink, the number 9 and reviewing the shapes. We will also begin exploring the letter Ff and words that begin with that letter. In art, we will be making a turkey project and working on various art projects in the classroom such as completing our cornucopias, scarecrows and leaves. We will also be talking about community, transportation and safety habits. On Election Day, our class will be voting on the snack of the day.

We will be reading “Lola at the Library,” “Knuffle Bunny” and “A Good Night Walk”. We will be working on story sequencing and making predictions.

In math, we will be comparing distances and reviewing counting objects.

During Jesus time, we will be discussing the theme of being thankful to Jesus. In addition, we will be going to chapel on Wednesday and be listed by the Comfort Dog Ministry.

We continue to practice writing our names independently throughout the day on all of our work. In addition, each day we are practicing identifying our own names during circle time.

I will be sending homework packets out on Monday which will be due by Friday.
