Hello Parents,
We are continuing to riding tricycles in the small gym each day, please send in a bicycle helmet for your child to wear. Also, please send in money for the World’s Finest chocolate fundraiser as you have it. Thank you for your support of our school!
The speech screening will take place on Monday, January 27th. We will also be celebrating Lunar New Year on Monday.
On Friday, we will be talking about groundhog’s dog and predicting if the groundhog will or won’t see his shadow and what that means.
We are continuing our theme called, Awesome Animals. The final unit is entitled, Animals Grow and Change.
BIG Idea: Animals grow and change just like me. Knowledge Focus: Children learn about life science through the exploration of animals and animal life cycles. Social-Emotional Focus: Attention. Vocabulary: adult, baby, change, develop, grow, growth and stage.
This week we will be reviewing letters A-P, numbers 1-16, and all the shapes that we have learned. We will be learning the letter Qq this week and the number 17. We are continuing to learn sight words which is the beginning step for early reading.

Jesus Time: This week is Lutheran Schools Week and the themes we will be discussing are: joyfully, peacefully, thankfully, hopefully, and faithfully.
Pizza envelopes will be sent home on Monday and are due back on Thursday morning.
