READING- Our essential question is, “How do musicians work together to make music?” To help us answer the question we will read the stories, Simon and Molly Plus Hester, Zin! Zin! Zin! a Violin, and Poems About Music. Our high frequency words are, make, them, give, play, say, and new. In addition the students will learn the medial short and long “o” sound, blending, to answer inference questions, to make story predictions, the use of the pronouns, he, she, we, and learn multiple -meaning words. We will read the stories, Make it Pop and My Dog Tom in our Readers.

MATH- Chapter 10 will be learning to identify and describe three-dimensional shapes. This week our focus is on whether a given three-dimensional shape can roll, stack or slide, and describing a sphere, cube and cylinder.

RELIGION- Jesus appears to His disciples is our focus.

HANDWRITING- The students will write capital and lower case Q-q.

SCIENCE- We are continuing to explore butterflies.
