READING- This week is a review week, as next week we will have a Unit 3 Reading test. More information will follow.

Our essential question is, “What can we see in the sky?” To help us answer the question we will read and discuss the stories, How Many Stars in the Sky?, What a Beautiful Sky!, and What Will the Weather be Like?  The class will review the words, come, me, with, my, you, what, are, and now, and the sounds, b, n, f, and long and short a. We will also continue to blends sounds to read three letter words, practice reading fluency, determine story order, and identify sentences that are statements and questions.

MATH-  We will continue using problem solving skills and model, count, and write numbers, 16, 17, 18, and 19.

RELIGION- Our Bible story is “Jesus Heals Ten Men.”

HANDWRITING- We will practice writing capital and lower case C-c.

SCIENCE- Our Science will be connected to our Reading as we learn about and discuss different forms of weather, and what is in the sky.

REMINDERS

Friday, March 15, is GREEN Day. It is a non-uniform day and students should wear something green.
