READING- This week we are completing Lesson 11 which we started last week. (See notes from last week.)
MATH- Our next chapter, Chapter 6, is on Subtraction, (take away.) This week we will use pictures to act out and a ten frame to learn the concept, “taking away from.”
RELIGION- Jesus stills the storm is our Bible story this week.
SCIENCE- As part of Reading and Science we will compare and contrast seasons, by discussing changes in nature and in the weather from one season to the next.
HANDWRITING- Our letter is “O-o.”
REMINDERS
The class is earning snowflakes for appropriate school behavior. We hope to earn all of them by Thursday, 1/24, for a Polar Express Day on Friday, 1/25. Further details to follow.
