“Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.” – Henry Ford

It’s our final week in 3rd grade. I have come to love all of my students and I will miss them as they move on to 4th grade.

I will be sending home textbooks and supplies throughout the entire week. Please make sure that your child empties the backpack each day.

We have finished reading “The Tale of Despereaux”, and we will be watching the movie during our end of year party on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, I am sending home “Summer Packets”. These packets are for your child to practice throughout the summer. The summer work includes reading 3 chapter books. All students who complete the summer packets will be entitled to a “Nut Card”.  Should the packet be misplaced, you can always print out another from here.

On Wednesday, we are going to have an end of year celebration! All of the students have volunteered to send something in for our party. A note was sent home last week. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.

Thank you for a wonderful school year, and I wish you all a fantastic summer!
