Welcome to Mrs. Flomer’s class notes!
Here’s a look at what we will be doing this week!
Spelling-The words for this week are: can, had, cat, ran, an, bad. The vocabulary (“R” book) words are: away, every, call, hear, come, said. The children will write their 12 spelling words 3x each for homework by Wednesday.
Phonics- -ck, /a/
Language Arts- complete sentences
Reading: We will read the story Jack and the Wolf . The children will read it again at home. They will compare Jack and the Wolf to The Three Little pigs (in their hard covered reading books). There will be a Reading test on Friday.
Math- using doubles to add; add 10 and more
Religion- Daily devotions and Bible stories from religion book 2
Science- Technology
Social Studies- We will complete unit 1
Test next Wednesday
Book will be sent home to study

Our Star of the Week is Isaiah! We are looking forward to learning all about him!

Reminder: This is Spirit week, and your child can dress in PJ’s on Monday, Dress their Best on Wednesday, and wear orange for Anti-Bullying day on Friday!
Ask your child if they are in need of any school supplies (pencils, glue, crayons, colored pencils, etc.) and send them in as soon as possible.
Please remember to check your child’s folder each night and remove the papers. Also, check and initial their homework books nightly.
Pizza envelopes are due by Thursday morning.
