The month of February has begun and with it a season of love, hearts and happiness. This week we will lace hearts, create heart placemats and sculpt heart shaped salt dough pendants. We will sing and dance to “Skinamarink”, “Five Little Hearts”, “Valentines Boom Chicka Boom” and “The I Love You Song”. We will play some math games with conversation hearts. There will also be water beads in the sensory table. At Jesus time, we will learn how Jesus taught us to love one another. In addition, we will explore letters Ff and Gg and complete a booklet on the month of February.
There is a sign up posted outside the classroom for our Valentines celebrations next week. We will enjoy a special snack next Thursday and a fancy Valentines Tea Party on Friday.
