This week we will celebrate Valentine’s Day with a variety of fun activities. We will read many stories on love, feelings, Valentines Day and being fancy, including some from the Fancy Nancy series. We will explore letters H and I and create watercolor hearts and write and illustrate “I love…” booklets. We will also observe candy hearts as they dissolve in different liquids. Music includes “5 Little Hearts”, “Boom Chicka Boom, “Skinamarink”, “Love One Another” and “Jesus Loves You”.
This Thursday we will have a special Valentine’s snack and Friday we will celebrate with a Valentines Tea Party. We will learn basic table manners for kids and design our own tea cups for the party.
