February is not just about hearts, Valentine’s Day and love…it’s also Dental Health month. In class this week, we will complete the month of February with a unit on dental health and good nutrition. We will explore how our bodies work and how to best keep them healthy. We will see first hand the effects of soda on your teeth as we perform the egg in Coca Cola experiment. Next week, we will get a special visit from a local dentist!
This week also begins the holy season of Lent. Ash Wednesday is this week. We will learn about how “J is for Jesus” and how Lent is a time for good deeds.
