We are looking forward to a short, but exciting week full of holiday plans.  We are continuing to explore Native American culture, as we did last week.  We are reading stories, singing songs and exploring epitaphs / artistic styles that describe the native peoples of North America.  Art will include a corn painting and music will include the “Pow Wow Song” by Jack Hartman.
The Thanksgiving holiday festivities include a special snack in the classroom on Tuesday and a school wide liturgy and feast on Wednesday.  The children have created hats and placemats to make these activities a bit more colorful.
Trinity will be closed this Thursday and Friday in observance of Thanksgiving.  We hope you enjoy a happy and blessed holiday weekend with your family.
