ECC Classes: Snowy Day project based on the book A Snowy Day by E.J. Keatz
Kindergarten: Mittens of Symmetry (Pattern & Color Elements of Art) will be discussed
Gr. 1: finishing up our Snowmen at Night projects with lots of white snow and glitter
Gr. 2: finishing up our Winter Trees project with discussions related to space and perspective
Gr. 3: finishing up our Winter Birch Trees painting
Gr. 4: finishing up our Architecture project (flat and peaked roof structures)
Gr. 5: Snowman at Night chalk pastel project (discussions related to perspective, shading and value) Reminder — All Posters and Forms for the 2019 National Missing Children’s Day Poster Contest are due to Mrs. Lively by Tuesday, Jan. 15th. Please remember that this will be graded as well for a 2nd Trimester Art grade.
Gr. 6: finishing up our Positive/Negative design projects
Gr. 7: Split-Face Self Portrait (half of the portrait will focus on objects related to the student’s personality/interests)
Gr. 8: finishing up our Scratchboard projects
Art Elective: finishing up our Acrylic Painting of the Aurora Borealis
