This Week in Art 3/18/19
ECC — We’re making Cherry Blossom Trees!
Kindergarten — the class will be using watercolors to paint their tulips
Gr. 1 — students will be learning about the dreamlike quality of M. Chagall’s artwork
Gr. 2 — this class will be viewing how artist’s have painted different occupations
Gr. 3 — will be finishing up their paper roll sculptures
Gr. 4 — will be learning how the artist P. Rubens painted the Crucifixion/Elevation of Christ and Descent from the cross
Gr. 5 — this class will be busy drawing optical illusion tunnels using two contrasting colors
Gr 6 — will be finishing up last week’s project and beginning a new unit on Portraiture
Gr. 7 — this is the last class to finish up weaving our fabulous Mug Rugs
Gr. 8 — will be finishing up their Large Flower Drawings using chalk pastels
ART ELECTIVE — New 3rd Trimester Class starts this Thursday/Will be designing TIKIS and carving them into a bar of soap
