This week is the end of our second trimester of the 4th grade school year.  I think it’s an important time to connect about student progress.  If you have any concerns or questions, after you see your child’s next report card, please feel free to reach out and set up an appointment with me (email [email protected]).  I am available most mornings before school, beginning at 7:30am.

GRAMMAR: comparative and superlative forms of adjectives

WRITING: history of basketball

MATH: Test on Ch. 7; multiplying fractions

SOCIAL STUDIES: Ch. 8 Lesson 1 Freedom’s Call; Lesson 2 New York and the Union

SCIENCE: Unit 7 Lesson 2 Explorations 1 & 2 Rocks and Fossils

TESTS this week:

  • Tuesday – Math Chapter 7
  • Thursday – Memory Quiz
  • Friday: Spelling, Reading, Grammar

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • Math Extra Help Tuesday 7:30am
  • Grades K-5 will attend an assembly on Thursday, presented by PSE&G in conjunction with the National Theatre for Children, called “The Conservation Caper.”  Look for take home material that tells about the event and how families can get a free conservation kit.
