It’s always fun to be able to incorporate other activities into our lessons such as the cultural aspect of Cinco de Mayo and the history behind the Kentucky Derby.  This class is always so INTERESTED in new ideas, fun facts, different ways of life.  They really are true learners in every sense of the word.  I hope you all got to take a look at the poetry booklet that your child completed.  They did a wonderful job exploring different types of poems.
