Week 9

“Today a reader, tomorrow a leader.” – Margaret Fuller

Thank you to everyone who sent back the slip and party money. Jonel’s mother has graciously volunteered to be our class parent this year. I am extremely grateful! If you have had the opportunity to return the paperwork and money, please do it as soon as possible

On Wednesday, we are having our Fall Party. If you have signed up to send something in, please make sure it is at school by one o’clock. Our party is from 1:30 – 2:10.

Math

We have begun multiplication and will be having our first test on Friday. It will cover all of chapter 3.  Additionally, we have been working on xtramath and I hope children are practicing at home, as well. I will be switching the program to muliplication on Monday, November 5th. Taking the time to memorize multiplication facts in 3rd grade is so important to your child’s success in Math in future grades. Please review them nightly.
