Week 34

Our Safety Town trip is on Tuesday afternoon. Please make sure that your child bring lunch to school and dresses appropriately.

Mr. DeVries has been practicing lines with the students for our Spring musical.We are rehearsing every day this week. Please continue to practice the lines with your child at home.

Permission slips for our field trip to Cradle of Aviation are going home on Monday. The trip is scheduled for Tuesday, June 4th. There is no cost for students to go on this trip. If you would like to chaperone, please indicate so on the permission slip and include $13.50 to cover your costs. Please return permission slips by Tuesday, May 21st.

The last Scholastic Book order is going to be placed on next Tuesday. . If you wish to place your order online, our class code is GZBYH.

Math

We are studying perimeter and area. We are having our chapter test on Wednesday..  Also, please continue to review multiplication facts with your child.

ELA: Because we are spending a lot of time rehearsing for our play, I will be spreading this story over two weeks.  There will be a spelling test this week, and next Thursday there will be comprehension, vocabulary, and grammar.
