As I write this, I can’t believe that we only have 14 more days left in school!
Field Day is on Monday, June 11th. Ms. Plank sent a note home regarding the third grade. I believe that it said that we are to wear soccer clothes. I’m sure that children are going to enjoy the events that she has planned!
We are going to do our Bench Mark testing this week. Please make sure that your child has a good breakfast everyday and pencils! You might be surprised at how many pencils I bought this school year (288 to be exact!) I don’t know where they go, they just seem to vanish into thin air.
As a class we are reading The Tale of Despereaux by Kate DiCamillo. The class is really enjoying the story.
I will not have anymore ela tests this year.
In math, we are having the 8 as a factor test on Tuesday, Then I will send home the 9 as a factor packet. Additionally, we are studying geometry. I suggest that if your child is having any problems, please let me know or go on thinkcentral.com to find review pages.

In Science we are investigating inherited plant and animal traits.
