Week 23

A lot is happening on Wednesday this week! It’s Valentine’s Day and Red Day on Thursday.  We are having a party in the classroom after lunch to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Your child is welcomed to send in Valentine’s cards for the entire class. It is a Red Day.

Math

We are working on fractions.  We are having a quiz on Tuesday.   It will cover unit fractions, numerator, denominator, and fractions on a numerline.

ELA

We are all ELA  tests on Friday.

The students are also working on their informational writing. We are gathers notes from books and online resources, and then students will begin drafting. Afterwards, we will be working on revising and editting.

Social Studies

We are finishing up our unit on Canada.  We will not be having another test on Canada.

Religion

We are studying messages from God.  I have also included the link here for Third Grade Memory Work and due dates. Our Wednesday test is on Matthew 19:16

They are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate. Matthew 19:6
