Week 14

“If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know how amazing you can be.” – Maya Angelou

Welcome back from Thanksgiving break. I hope everyone had a wonderful time with family and friends, and maybe even got in some shopping.

Thank you to everyone who helped out during the The Thanksgiving Feast. It was a huge success.

Mr. DeVries will be sending home a notice regarding our upcoming school play. Please make sure that you receive a copy this week. Additionally, students should be working on memorizing lines.

Santa Shop (I’m not sure of the name) is on Tuesday. We are going at 12:40.

Math

We are continuing with multiplication in Chapter 4. Our Chapter test will be on Wednesday. In class we are also working with sprints and Xtramath.com. Taking the time to memorize multiplication facts in 3rd grade is so important to your child’s success in Math in future grades. Please review them nightly.

ELA

We are having our ELA tests on Friday, December 6th. They will include Comprehension, Vocabulary, Grammar, and Spelling.
