This Week in Art

October’s Winners selected for the Masterpiece of the Month are:  Javar Mitto (Gr.5), Jayden Thelusca (Gr.7) and Angelina Naranjo (Gr.8)  Congratulations to all and everyone please check out their picture posted on our school website standing in front of their beautifully created artwork!

Grades Three, Four and Five will be creating the turkey centerpieces this year for our school-wide Thanksgiving Feast on Wed., Nov. 27th.  These students should make sure they find and take home their centerpieces at the completion of the feast.

Parents/Guardians when you come in for your child’s Parent/Teacher Conference next Thursday, 11/14 please take a stroll through Trinity’s hallways and check out the beautiful fall artwork our students have created before it all gets taken down after the Thanksgiving break.

ECC Classes this week will start on their Coffee Filter Turkey project.

Kindergarten will use oil pastels to trace over and color a turkey stencil before they watercolor the turkey’s feathers.

Gr. 1 will start making a lovely tissue paper Christmas Wreath out of a paper plate that they can take home to decorate for the holiday.

Gr. 2 is finishing up their Animals from Bible Stories drawings this week.

Gr. 6 is also completing their Abstract Art project entitled Name Design this week.

Gr. 7 is still working on designing the border for their Thankfulness Manuscript Writing project.

Gr. 8 finishes up their Gold Scratchboard project this week.

The Art Elective class will finish painting the details on their 3D Initial Sculptures this week.
