Greetings,
I am so excited to be teaching your 6th graders the subject I truly love.
This week in class we will remember 9/11 and this important point in history. Students will celebrate the great country they live in along with remembering the lives that were lost. Mid-week students will participate in a curriculum overview interactive activity using their Chromebooks. It’s important for them to research the great civilizations they will be learning about this year. At the week’s end the focus will be on map vocabulary and applying the skill of longitude and latitude to an exact location in class project. I look forward to a week of collaboration and instruction.
