Students will be given their reading selections for the month of October. There will be a vocabulary test on unit 2. Words are posted on Google classroom. Much of the homework will be for vocabulary.
6th Grade: We are finishing up Freak the Mighty. Students will review pronouns. If time permits, they will begin writing an essay on the novel by the end of the week. We will work on reflections for the novel. There will be a quiz on chapters 14 and 15 on Monday.
7th Grade: Seventh graders are working to finish The Wednesday Wars. We review pronouns and begin vocabulary. There will be a quiz on the chapter titled February.
8th Grade: We will review pronouns. The students in eighth grade will begin writing an essay on the novel, The Outsiders. Their final project for the novel is due on Friday, October 6th. Students should select their books for the month of October.
