There will be a vocabulary test on Unit 12 on Friday, May 19th. By now, all research papers should have been turned in. Students are required to read Chapters 10-15 in their novels for a quiz on Wednesday, May 23.
6th Grade: There will be a literary elements quiz on Tuesday, May 15. We will continue to study sentence structure. Students will read two stories and then compare and contrast them in an essay. Students will be quizzed on The Cay on Wednesday, May 16 on chapters 5-9.
7th Grade: Students in 7th Grade will work on an NYS essay in class. They will have a quiz on chapters 5-9 on Fever on Wednesday, May 16. We will continue to study sentence structure. Students will also have a quiz on literary Elements on Thursday, May 17.
8th Grade: Eighth graders will finish reading Anne Frank. After reading that, we will Prisoner of My Country about Japanese internment. We will have a quiz on The Wave on Wednesday, May 16 on Ch. 5-9
