ALL GRADES: Spelling test Unit 7 on Friday, December 15th. Social Studies related book choices have been given out for December Book Project. They are posted on Google classroom. Book projects due Jan. 10th.

6th Grade: Students in sixth grade will begin to study helping verbs this week. We will review reading comprehension passage answers. The class will work on in-class persuasive essay, and read a short story about a Chanukah miracle by Isaac Bashevis Singer- “Zlateh the Goat”.

7th Grade:
The seventh grade students will also begin to study helping verbs. We will go over our reading comprehension passages. Students will work on an in class persuasive essay, and begin a Christmas short story by Max Lucado called, “An Angel’s Story.”

8th Grade: Eighth grade students will work on an essay pertaining to Flowers For Algernon. They will review verbs and read a short story, “On The Sidewalk.” In this story they will review plot, symbolism, and inference.
