Grade 6: The sixth graders are finishing up our unit on folktales. Students will begin to write a folktale. We will review direct objects and begin to study indirect objects.
Grade 7: Students in seventh grade are writing their own versions of a modern fairy tale. They will share what they have done with others. After reviewing direct objects, students will go over indirect objects. By the end of the week, students will begin their poetry unit.
Grade 8: We will finish up with our poetry unit; students will be given a choice of options for their own poetry project. Students will study indirect objects and review direct objects.
