I hope everyone enjoyed the Rodeo; we certainly enjoyed preparing the children for the show!

We are finally into Spring, and hopefully this week we will get some nice weather and be able to enjoy some time outside. If we get outside we will take some time to look up at the sky and see all the amazing shapes that clouds can become. We will also take some time to look for signs of Spring outside. Hopefully by the end of the week the Forsythia will be in bloom and we can begin our unit on flowers. Our first project will be to make a Forsythia picture with crumpled tissue paper.

For Jesus time we will be focusing on Easter. We will be making an Easter book portraying all of the important events leading up to Jesus death and resurrection. We will be learning some new songs including “When I remember”, “Ho Ho Ho Hosanna”, and “Do you know?”. On Wednesday we will visit chapel.

We will also start a new LA unit on animals, beginning with rabbits. We will paint pastel colored bunnies to make a bunny trail in the hallway.

We will continue working on letters and letter sounds.

Have a blessed week!
