There will be no classes on Monday in observance of Columbus Day.
This week we celebrate the color, blue! One of the books we will read this week is Blueberries for Sal. After reading the story, we will count blueberries, finger paint a blueberry basket and mix, measure and bake blueberry muffins. Our songs include, “Blue” by the Blue Man Group, “The Rainbow Colors Song” and “Old Macdonald had a Farm”. We will begin to explore the life cycle of a pumpkin. We will also visit the chapel this week and learn about how God made the colors. Please don’t forget to wear something blue and bring in a blue object from home for show and tell on Thursday and Friday.
