This week we will explore the holiday – “Thanksgiving”. We will discuss what we are thankful for and create a class wreath displaying all of our many blessings. We will say thank you to God at Jesus time and discuss how Jesus wanted us all to be gracious. In conjunction with the story of the first Thanksgiving, we will explore Native American culture and folklore. Music and movement activities include dancing to: “Pow Wow”, “A Turkey Dance” and “10 Little Turkeys” plus a few more. Our art activities include painting watercolor leaves and creating a math patterned headband.
