This week we continue to explore winter. We discussed winter weather and dress. We explored the science of snow and we are observing the growth of rock candy crystals in our classroom. We are moving our bodies to winter / snowflake songs. We are counting Snowmen and penguins and learning the corresponding numerals 1 – 5.
We have also begun learning the alphabet. This week we are studying letters, “Ff” and “Gg”. We are also learning about the phonics sounds each letter makes.
