We are in full swing. Here’s what is goin on:
Spelling: Words from The Homework Machine. Test THURSDAY
Reading: We are reading The Homework Machine. There will be a test THURSDAY. Comprehension and vocabulary are included.
Individual book choice:Test 10/31.
Writing: We are exploring fictional narratives and will be writing our own.
Math: Ch 2 division. Test 10/23 Extra help 7:45am Wednesday, 10/18
Religion: We are finishing the book Case For Faith for Kids. The class has enjoyed this and we have had a number of deep conversations. I am amazed at the students knowledge and questions.
There will be a brief test on Thursday.
Memory test: 10/25 Proverbs 17:9
S.S. Chapter 4. Take home test 10/24. We will be completing an activity in class that will be graded.
Science: We are diving into our new science curriculum. We will be exploring using science and math in engineering .
We are changing for physical eduaction on Wed. Please be sure your child has red shorts, grey t-shirt, and is comfortable opening his/her lock.
Work Back Wednesday folders will go home this week.Please empty folders, sign and return.
