Math Grade 6

This week we finishing up with integers. There will be a quiz on lessons 1.1-1.3 on Tuesday, 9/19. Then we will begin discussing rational numbers. We will be finding the opposites, absolute value, and ordering rational numbers. Extra help is Wednesday morning from 7:30 to 8:00 AM.

Math Grade 7

This week we will be having a quiz on adding and subtracting positive and negative integers on Wednesday, 9/20. Then we will begin Module 2 which covers multiplying and dividing integers.  Extra help is Wednesday morning at 7:30-8:00 AM.

Pre-Algebra

We will be finishing up our module on the number system which included classifying numbers and taking square roots. The quiz on those lessons will be on Tuesday, 9/19. Following the quiz, we will be learning how to simplify non-perfect square radicands and solving equations with square roots.  Extra help is Wednesday morning at 7:30 to 8:00 AM.

Algebra

This week we will be continuing our with our chapter on solving equations. We will begin the week learning how to transform literal equations. Then we will begin our unit review. The test on chapter 2 will be on Thursday, 9/21.  Extra help is by appointment.
