Math Grade 6
We are working on module 10. This week will cover expressions vs. equations. Vocabulary such as coefficient, variable, and constant will be introduced. We will also be translating between words and expressions. There will be a quiz on Thursday, 3/23 on translating expressions. Extra help is Wednesday morning at 7:45.
Math Grade 7
This week we are continuing with Unit 4. This week we will focus on finding surface area and volume of three-dimensional figures. There will be a quiz on surface area on Tuesday, 3/21.Extra help is Wednesday morning at 7:45.
Pre-Algebra
This week we are continuing our unit on 2D Geometry. Our focus this week will be on dilations, symmetry, and congruence. There will be a quiz on these topics on Wednesday, 3/22. Extra help is Wednesday morning at 7:45.
Algebra
We are working on chapter 9. This chapter covers quadratic graphs and their properties. We will be exploring how to find the vertex, axis of symmetry, and roots of parabolas. There will be a quiz on Wednesday, 3/22.
