Math Grade 7

The students are still working on our 3-dimensional geometry unit. Students explored how to calculate surface area. This week our focus will be on how to calculate volume of various figures. There will be a quiz on finding volume on Thursday, 3/22. Extra help is Wednesday morning at 7:30.

Pre-Algebra

We are continuing our unit on two-dimensional geometry. We already explored translations, reflections, rotations and symmetry, and dilations. We also reviewed the differences between similarity, and congruence. This week our focus will be on angle relationships. (complementary, supplementary, vertical, adjacent, interior, and exterior) There will be a quiz on Wednesday, 3/21. Extra help is Wednesday mornings at 7:30.
